SMART Water Filter

This filter utilizes our SMART special house blend, which includes:

• Two types of coconut-shell Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC), including Catalytic GAC.
• Two types of Eagle Redox Alloys® (9500 & 6500).
• Anion exchange resin.

This advanced blend effectively reduces, removes, or reduces various contaminants such as heavy metals, chlorine, chloramine, pesticides, herbicides, pharmaceutical by-products, and other inorganic substances like petroleum byproducts. Ceramic and Tourmaline balls are also incorporated to enhance the water and maintain a more alkaline pH.

System Filtration Stages

• Pre-filtration: Water initially flows through a 20-inch sediment cartridge that removes particulate matter like sediment, silt, sand, and dirt.

• Post-filtration: After primary filtration, water passes through a 20-inch solid carbon cartridge. This stage is designed for removing or reducing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and any remaining insecticides, pesticides, and industrial solvents.

SMART Media Tank

Water flows through our SMART Multimedia, a specialized formulation which includes:

• Two types of coconut shell Granulated Activated Carbons (Standard & Catalytic GAC).
• These GACs are infused with our Eagle Redox Alloys® 6500 & 9500.
• Ion exchange resin.

This combination targets contaminants such as heavy metals (e.g., lead & mercury), chlorine, chloramine, and inorganic products like herbicides, pesticides, and petroleum/pharmaceutical by-products, while also working to achieve a balanced pH.

Alkalizing (Eagle) Water Filter

This comprehensive filter system includes several stages:

• Pre-filtration: Water first passes through a 20-inch sediment cartridge to remove sediment, silt, sand, and dirt.

• Post-filtration (Carbon Block): The water then flows through a 20-inch solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and any lingering insecticides, pesticides, and industrial solvents.

• Ultrafiltration (UF) Membrane: Next, water passes through a 20-inch, 0.2-micron ultrafiltration (UF) membrane for fine purification.

• Alkalization & Mineralization: The water continues through a bed of a special blend of calcium carbonate media. This stage alkalizes, ionizes, and remineralizes the water, effectively raising its pH level.

• Ionizing Media: Finally, water travels through a special blend of natural mineral and infra-red balls integrated into our Ionizer media for further water enhancement.

Eagle Media Tank

This tank features distinct filtration media:

• Water passes through coconut shell granulated activated carbon (Arsenic-Free GAC™). GAC is a universally recognized and regularly used adsorbent, effective for removing or reducing a wide variety of organic contaminants, as well as improving taste and eliminating odors from drinking water.
• The water then flows through two beds of Eagle Redox Alloy® (ERA® 6500 & 9500) media. This media utilizes a natural electrochemical oxidation-reduction and adsorption process to reduce or remove many unwanted contaminants from the water.

Magnetic Water Conditioner

By incorporating one of our magnet water conditioners with your Eagle system, you can counteract the negative effects of minerals passing through your system. This helps retain system efficiency and prolong equipment longevity without relying on energy costs or chemicals. Our magnetic water conditioner is designed for exceptional long-term performance with minimal maintenance, offering a substantial return on your investment.

Water Softener (optional)

Water flows through an ion exchange resin and brine water conditioner.

Salt-Free Anti-scale Water Softener (optional)

Crystal Quest Saltless Water Softener is a new technology which transforms the calcium (hardness) of the water into mechanically stable and heat resistant calcite crystals (nanometer size) which no longer cause lime deposits. The calcium is simply rinsed away.

Calcium (hardness) creates scale in pipes, on appliances and other plumbing surfaces. This leads to higher heating and energy costs and expensive repairs to appliances. Scale can also be a source for bacteria to grow, which can be a health concern in drinking water applications. It also removes the already existing scale from pipes and heat exchanger surfaces (descaling effect) and further protects the system from the future formation of scale (scale protection effect).

When hardness levels appear at 25 gpg (grans per gallon) or higher pre-treatment or additional media may be required.  Please consult a specialist for this condition.
